I have been photographing weddings since 2013. I really liked photography, and was enjoying the various portrait sessions I was booking on nights and weekends after my marketing job. Then, someone asked me to shoot their wedding. It was small, it was my first try, and I absolutely fell in love. I was there at such an incredible, pivotal moment in that couple’s life. I met nearly every person that they loved. I saw them laugh, I saw them cry, and I had the privilege and challenge of capturing those moments. It was terrifying, stressful, exciting… and I was hooked.

Hi hi!! I’m Steph, Owner of SLP + lover of life’s most precious moments!! I started my business when I was 15 (!!!!) and quite literally had no idea what I was doing. 🙂 I started out photographing senior portraits, families, + engagement sessions, which soon led to shooting my first wedding when I was 18. I absolutely fell in love!!! From there, I had to decide if I was going to go off to college or pursue photography full-time. Naturally, I did both (haha).
I do things a bit differently than most. My approach in documenting your big day is to capture not only the “must have” moments, but also the in between overlooked moments. This is a special mix of me directing you and your love through a prompt, but mostly watching the moment unfold to get those candid, documentary, timeless photos.
